About Us
Our team provides community based professional supervised visitation. Our team is lead by staff that have decades of experience working in the field of child protection. In response to area needs in NH, we created our services to help connect and support safe and healthy visitation between children and their non-custodial parents.
We believe that children should maintain healthy, safe, consistent connections with their family. Family matters was derived from the simple importance of keeping children connected and helping parents nurture and grow a safe bond with their children that benefits the entire family.
Our Objectives
01. Provide safe, structured, community based supervised visitation.
02. Enhance parenting capacity through modeling and coaching healthy behaviors by using our experience as social workers and clinicians.
03. Provide neutral and clear written documentation to the court regarding our observations.
04. Assist in assessing the appropriateness of progressive visitation and make such recommendations via our documentation.

How to have a successful visit:
What does effective and collaborative co-parenting look like?
Being prepared is half the battle when it comes to parenting!
In preparing for your visit please consider the following:
The other half is focusing on building your relationship with your child(ren):
Things to do:
Things not to do:
Remember it's about the kids not you!
Find a middle ground!
Stop and ask yourself if it's a need or a want?
Stick to the bigger picture, and keep it about the kids!
Communicate
respectfully and
clearly.
Be a role model! Show your children
how to manage
conflict with calmness.
Balance each others
strengths and weaknesses!
Speak to eachother with calm and kindness.
Pick your battles wisely! If something is important to you say it but if it's not know when to let things go that aren't important!
Act vindictive
Use the children
to communicate.
Sweat the small stuff!
Set them up to fail.
Expect them to parent the same as you do!
Be inflexible or passive aggressive!
Speak negatively about eachother to the kids.
Put your needs above the kids.
Use the children
to communicate.
